BAKED CRANBERRY BRIE WITH PUFF PASTRY

Yield: Serves 10

Ingredients:

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

1 5-inch-round wheel Brie (16 oz)

½ cup favorite cranberry sauce

½ cup chopped pecans

1 tablespoon honey

1 large egg, lightly beaten

1 tablespoon turbinado sugar

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F. On parchment-lined baking sheet, roll puff pastry 2 inches larger than Brie. Cut off top rind of Brie leaving bottom and sides intact; place on puff pastry. Spread cranberry sauce on top; sprinkle with pecans, then drizzle with honey. Fold corners of pastry over Brie to enclose filling, brush with egg; sprinkle with sugar. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with toasted French bread slices or crackers.
